Effective Date: 1 Jan 2025
Avinya is a future-skills educational bootcamp designed for teenagers to master real-world skills through a structured online learning experience. This Refund & Returns Policy outlines the terms related to fees, payments, deferrals, and refunds for all Avinya programs and services.
By accessing or using the Avinya platform, you agree to this Refund & Returns Policy in addition to our Terms of Use and Disclaimer. This forms a binding agreement between you and Avinya.
Educational Program Fees
Enrollment in any Avinya program is subject to a clearly communicated program fee, payable during the onboarding or application process.
As the program is designed for teenagers (ages 13–19), the parent or legal guardian is solely responsible for making payments on behalf of the student. Full access to live sessions, recorded content, projects, community features, and mentoring will only be granted once payment (or scheduled part-payments) is completed.
Payment Terms & Non-Payment Consequences
By enrolling your child in an Avinya program, you agree to adhere to the payment terms shared with you.
If the payment is not completed on time:
- Access to live classes, the student portal, and community may be paused or restricted without prior notice.
- The student may be removed from the cohort in cases of non-payment or excessive delay. No refund will be issued for payments already made.
- While Avinya does not currently charge late fees, repeated delays may result in forfeiture of the seat in the program.
We encourage transparent communication around payment difficulties so that we can support you with alternate options where possible.
Troubleshooting Payment Failures
If your payment fails, the issue typically lies with your bank or payment provider. Here’s how to address common problems:
Security blocks: Your bank may block large or first-time payments. Call them to approve the transaction.
Daily limits: Some accounts have transaction limits. Request your bank to temporarily raise your purchase limit.
Authorisation holds: Banks may hold funds for up to 7–10 days after a failed attempt. Ask them to release the blocked amount.
Try a different method: If the issue persists, switch to another card or payment option.
Payments for Avinya are processed securely via Razorpay. For support, write to [email protected].
Refund Policy
Program Fee: Non-refundable once your child has been accepted and enrolled, including in cases of dropout, disinterest, or scheduling conflicts.
However, we do offer a one-time deferral to the next cohort under the following conditions:
a) Before the Cohort Starts:
You may transfer your child’s admission to the next available batch at no extra cost, provided the request is submitted at least 7 days before the program begins.
b) After the Cohort Starts:
If the request to defer is made after the start date, a transfer fee of ₹15,000 or 20% of the total program fee (whichever is higher) will be charged. This helps cover onboarding, resource allocation, and admin costs already incurred.
Deferral requests are subject to availability in future batches.
Trial Sessions & Events
Avinya may occasionally offer free trial sessions or promotional workshops. Participation in such sessions does not guarantee admission, and no refunds will be applicable once a session has been attended unless explicitly mentioned.
Parent/Guardian Responsibilities
By enrolling your teenager in Avinya, you agree to:
- Be the legal parent/guardian responsible for all financial and contractual obligations.
- Ensure that your child participates sincerely and abides by the program’s code of conduct.
- Stay in regular communication with the Avinya team for support and progress updates.
